The Lord Preparing the Way

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, Declares the Lord,  plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

The Lord asks us to humble ourselves and pray and to turn away from our sins and believe. Will you join us in prayer as we go to the land the Lord has called us to. May the Name of Jesus be Glorified and His Name be announced to the land of darkness that HIS light will shine before men, that a Hope and Peace will be given through the name of Jesus Christ our Savior.

It would only seem that a time like this, we would find ourselves questioning... "Are we suppose to be adopting a boy from Russia when we didn't even see this coming, even when we seem to be so weak?" There is no question that God has called us by name to bring a 14 year old boy home to be our son. We have no doubts... Why? We have clearly seen HIS hand at work. We find ourselves encouraged as we look back and see His mighty hand leading, guiding, providing, encouraging and preparing us. In our weakness HE is strong...

The Lord says, look at the Harvest, it is plentiful but the workers are few. Go to the widow and the orphan in distress. Love as I have Loved. We never imagined the Lord would be preparing us to go to Russia but, HE has all of our lives. To share the miracles with you and to see and behold the miracles of our Lord has been an experience that has been life changing, growing, encouraging, painful at times, our hearts crying out to the LORD, knowing that it must be Himself showing us, growing us and revealing that HE is GOD and there is no other GOD helping us to rely on His perfect ways and not our own.

Please pray we walk and not grow weary as we share in the Hope of our Lord and Savior and that we are still before the Lord, relying on HIM in all our ways and acknowledging Him. We know we go to adopt our boy Denis, but also along the way the Lord opened the doors to share the gospel.

Jesus preached... Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Come Follow Me...

We thank the Lord for emptying us, breaking us, so that we could see HIM. It isn't easy, but through God's word, we found life, that HIS word is alive and it is the manual for true salvation here on earth and for eternity in Heaven. When I questioned GOD or didn't really put the word of GOD into my heart and profess it... I was lost without peace and hope... We must believe that He is the same today, yesterday and forevermore. When Jesus walked the earth He healed, He showed the people who HE was so that they would believe. He said that we would do even greater things than these because He is going to the Father and whatever we ask in HIS name He will hear our prayers so that the Father will be Glorified. We believe in HIS name as the very breath we breathe. His WORD, it is our weapon for fighting battles, it is what overcomes darkness, it's what brings life to our weary bodies, it is our daily bread, it is how we can hear from Heaven, it is the way of true LIFE and you learn Jesus Love is so great, and pure and trusting.
To share HIS word, what has been so freely given to us... we must pray, trust and obey.

If the Lord prompts you to pray, please pray that the gates of darkness will be brought down and that HIS light will flow through and that HIS LIVING WORD will be shared and received... Please pray for the Harvest. May the Lord have mercy on us and our people.

We have received word that they are trying hard to get a court date within the next couple of weeks. We pray that it is the Lord's perfect timing and that the Lord will provide all we need.

We have nothing to give except the Name of Jesus, the greatest, most powerful, Holy name.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
look fully into His wonderful face,
and the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the Light Of HIS Glory and Grace...

A song the Lord placed in our hearts.

  2. I cherish the desperateness I experienced with God during Bella's wait. Her adoption changed our life in a way we never imagined. Like you, the brokenness of "the wait" and her diagnosis brought us closer to our Creator and lover of our hearts, and as our Father always does, he turned it in to an amazing experience and miracle both in this world and eternally. Love to you all, absolutely no doubt that Dennis is on his way home, God is never late, He promised He will be right on time! Hold on to that truth, you are and will be standing in His glory. Love to all, Susie
